“For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who in every respect has been tested as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore approach the throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” (Hebrews 4:15-16)
Our God is one who is approachable, and one who understands us. Jesus went through the things we have or will experience. He experienced pain and suffering, sorrow, disappointment, and temptation. But he rose above all of this, because he knew the glory of God, and the joy it brings. With God’s help, we can do the same when we let the Spirit of God work within, helping us to cope, and allowing us to see beyond our difficulties.
Prayer: Dear Lord, I am thankful for you being here to understand me. I am asking for you to work within, giving me strength and your perfect peace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
